The Team
Dr. Nicole Craze, DC
As a young competitive athlete, I was always training. I needed excellent balance, endurance and strength. I was hard on my body and felt like Sunnybrook Emergency knew me by name with all my sprains and strains. My father, who managed quite well with a chronic low back condition thanks to his chiropractor, took me to his clinic. The chiropractor watched me walk and assessed my joint range of motion and told me I had one leg longer than the other and my body was imbalanced because of it. After his treatment plan ended, I noticed I was much less accident-prone and was feeling at the top of my game.

I returned to Toronto to study Kinesiology and worked as a personal trainer in the university gym. I knew I wanted to be in health care, so I started working in clinics all over the city. I gained insight into how the health care system worked, and it became apparent to me that a traditional family practice was not for me. Treating a symptom seemed like a band-aid solution to the fundamental question of “why do you feel that way?”.
Working alongside a chiropractor and a physiotherapist as a personal trainer, I observed the diagnostic abilities that a chiropractor has and saw the role as a ‘detective of wellness’. Someone who looks for the answer to ‘why is this person not functioning at their finest’.
I graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2013.
I chose to be the doctor who observes how your body moves, asks a detailed history, and explains for you what needs improvement and how to optimize your body's healthy function.
I use a variety of techniques in my practice, and including Acupuncture, Webster technique, Active Release Therapy (ART), Neurokinetic Therapy (NKT) and OTZ.

I am passionate about health, nutrition and exercise. I love biking and hiking with my husband, young kids and our crazy dog.
I am a life-loving chiropractor who passionately believes that we were all meant to live a whole life of laughter, love, play, and enjoyment. I try to both live and move with purpose.
I am a mother of two beautiful, busy boys, a wife to a fantastically accepting husband, and alpha dog to a little terrier named Piper.

I love all manner of sport, and have dabbled in most. I figure skated as a youth, have completed a half Ironman triathlon, and enjoy a good weightlifting or Pilates session.

I snowboard when I can find snow, ski only across country, and run in snowshoes. I spend the summer on a mountain bike with my daring family, or on a paddleboard on the lake.

I graduated with a Bachelor's of Human Kinetics with a major in Movement Science from the University of Windsor, and in 2010, I earned my Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.
I am certified in and use a variety of techniques in my chiropractic practice, including Acupuncture, Active Release Technique, FMS, SFMA, kinesiotaping, and the Webster technique.

I enjoy discussing and integrating the psychological component of function in my practice sessions. And will listen to fully understand how all the elements of your body, life, work, stress, family, and sport affect how you function.

I love to read, and I can’t stop learning or eating delicious food. I find this thing called life endlessly fascinating.

WHAT WE OFFER
Chiropractic Adjustments
We treat the whole individual, taking into account your personal preferences, style of adjusting, and health needs.

Whether for pain, or maintenance, chiropractic adjustments are an excellent way to manage your physical health.

Chiropractors practice primarily using their hands, providing diagnosis, treatment and preventive care for disorders related to the spine, pelvis, nervous system and joints.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a traditional therapy that involves inserting thin metal needles into specific anatomically designed neurofunctional points on the skin and muscles of the body to target pain and dysfunction.

It is one of our favourite alternative therapies, whether in conjunction with, or as a full alternative to chiropractic adjustments.
